Minister Haradinaj-Stublla in BerlinThe strong relationship between Kosovo and Germany is built on the common values of freedom, democracy, and lasting peace, said on Tuesday in Berlin the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, after the official reception given by her counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Heiko Maas. "Berlin remains our main European capital and ally for Kosovo and its people," said after this meeting Chief Diplomat Haradinaj-Stublla, who is on her first official visit to Germany, made at the invitation of the Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs.
"I expressed my deep gratitude to Minister Maas for the assistance provided by the German Government to Kosovo during the pandemic, and for his unwavering support for putting Visa Liberalization on the agenda during the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union."
Minister Haradinaj-Stublla and Minister Maas discussed the excellent state of bilateral relations and agreed to further deepen cooperation in areas of common political and economic interest, as well as to conclude the recognition of driver's licenses.
On his part, Minister Maas expressed his determination for the role of Germany in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue to continue to be active and supportive in finalizing the comprehensive agreement legally binding on both parties.
Even on this occasion, Minister Haradinaj-Stublla underlined the urgent need to define the dialogue in three key elements: duration, principles, and final objective, which according to the Kosovo Foreign Minister chief diplomat, must necessarily result in mutual recognition.
