US-Kosovo Investment Forum 2010
On Wednesday, 27 October 2010, over 140 delegates attended the US-Kosovo Investment Forum at Harold Pratt House, in New York City. The Forum was staged by the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Washington, DC and Developing Markets Associates.
The Forum was addressed by a number of high-ranking ministers from the government of the Republic of Kosovo, including Hon Ahmet Shala, Minister of Economy and Finance, Hon Dr Justina Shiroka-Pula, Minister of Energy and Mining and Hon Edita Tahiri, Minister of Public Administration.
Key note addresses were also given by HE Avni Spahiu, Kosovo Ambassador to the U.S., HE Rosemary A. DiCarlo, Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Mr. Mustafë Hasani, Chief Executive, Kosovo Investment Promotion Agency; and business partners – Robert Draggon, Vice President, Bechtel Enterprises, Vullnet Latifi, Director, BPB Bank, Fadil Ismajli, CEO,KOSTT and Arben Gjukaj, Managing Director, KEK JSC, amongst others.
The Forum was followed by a gala reception at Harold Pratt House.
