Brigadier General Xhavit Gashi, Kosovo Security Force Attaché, paid a visit at Fort Bragg, NC

Fort Bragg, North Carolina 9-11 March 2016 - General's visit was mostly concentrated in 95th Civilian Affairs Brigade and 92nd Civilian Affairs Battalion. General Gashi, stated that he was honored to meet and listen personally from teams which have operated in Kosovo, listening directly from them for their great job and their impressions about Kosovo and the people of Kosovo.

Brigadier General Xhavit Gashi, Kosovo Security Force Attaché, paid a visit at Fort Bragg, NC " The Home of Airborne and Special Operations". General's visit was mostly concentrated in 95th Civilian Affairs Brigade and 92nd Civilian Affairs Battalion. General Gashi, stated that he was honored to meet and listen personally from teams which have operated in Kosovo, listening directly from them for their great job and their impressions about Kosovo and the people of Kosovo. 

Throughout Kosovo, we see almost every day their continued contributions in many areas, be it in supporting education and youth programs, supporting local health system, joint training with Kosovo Police and Kosovo Security Forces, and many other activities that contribute greatly to dealing with challenges we are facing as a young nation stated General Gashi. He also appreciated the time that the leadership of these units and the Commanding General dedicated to this visit by ensuring the continuing support for our country. At the end General Gashi expressed the hope for the next visit to be at the graduation of our officers in this great U.S. Military Education Institution where as written in a coin he was honored to receive from MG Linder - the place " Where the Brotherhood Begins". 

Kosovo is blessed to have this special partnership with the United States of America. We are small country and we have our challenges, but just like U.S. we have great people; we are small country, but just like U.S. we are trusted ally, said General Gashi.
