Ambassador Spahiu spoke at the Sovereign Challenge Conference organized by U.S. Special Operations Command

December 7, Savannah. Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Washington, DC, Avni Spahiu, spoke at the Sovereign Challenge Conference, organized by the U.S. Special Operations Command. The theme of the conference was “Resilience, Reconciliation and Reconstruction – Achieving Stability and Peace after Conflict.”

Ambassador Spahiu participated in the panel discussion on resilience, reconciliation and reconstruction in the Balkans. Ambassadors from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia also participated in this panel.

The conference was attended by diplomatic representatives, military attaches from 65 countries around the world and a group of youth from “Seeds for Peace” program, among whom a student from Kosovo, Erblin Mehmetaj. First Secretary Gjeneza Budima also took part in this conference.
