On this occasion, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Japan, Mr. Enis Xhemaili, greeted the participants, congratulated them for the Independence Day and thanked them for their contribution in deepening the relations between the peoples of both countries. He also called on both sides to strengthen further ties by cooperating and organizing various activities.
This was also a special meeting because ‘virtually’ friends who have not seen one another for more than 20 years met and mentioned various Japanese activities in Kosovo since the post-war period. Divided into two groups, 20+ participants also discussed about concrete activities they will carry out in the future.
On the same day, two diplomats of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Japan, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Enis Xhemaili and First Secretary Arbër Mehmeti, had lunch with members of the "Friend of Kosovo" Association. There, in addition to other discussions, Mr. Xhemaili encouraged the association members to focus specifically on economic and trade activities, which Kosovo needs most.
The embassy will be available for this excellent community to provide the necessary support as much as possible in achieving good goals for the rapprochement of both countries.
